Gurglin’ Green 4/30/11

Franklin’s High School presented Seattle with the First Annual Gurglin’ Green Dance Competition, over the years many have been used to Bubblin Brown Sugar hosted by Garfield High School but this year the gears were switched and the ride was a wonderful turn out. Congratulations to TiQuida Spellman who put her back into it and showed the 206 dance still lives here.  This would be ABK’s first show and their time to prove as a new team on the scene they were to conquer and they did just that and more! Kutt ‘N’ Up’s birth; ABK, Another Bad Kreation took first place against Washington Middle School and Mercer with a cartoon theme that was amazing! From the hand made TV to the infamous Koach T choreography with the help of Sebastian and Ty C. they were truly the birth of something bigger than them… wit a K!

As ABK set the tone and the bar high Kutt ‘N’ Up was getting ready to headline the whole show with their act! Not only was this bigger than they’ve ever done it before this was the comeback of bringing competition back. Yes, they’ve been back on the scene but this time they would make the scene their own. From the elite and infamous choreography of Koach T to the personalized costumes to the hand made JACK IN THE BOX which held the surprise of three KNU Veterans; Ty C.  Nailah and Sebastian to the AERIALIST!! if you didn’t have an imagination Kutt ‘N’ Up gave you life. Turning frowns upside to bringing back childhood memories and even creating a desire to want more this time around Kutt ‘N’ Up was sure to make sure ‘Cirque de so Live’ wasn’t to be lost in translation. Even going home with the trophy with a plaque that read second they had first place in their mind and hearts and the whole city felt that!

apologize for the lack of videos but they will be posted soon, real soon!
